If you are a heavy Kindle user, you might have noticed that newer books are often delivered in .azw3 format (also known as Kindle Format 8 or KF8). While superior to the older Mobi format, AZW3 is still locked comfortably inside Amazon's reading ecosystem. A Note on Encryption
