By accessing or using the website at https://easyeditpdfs.com (the "Service" or "Website"), operated by EasyEditPDFs ("we," "us," or "our"), you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age, have read and understood these Terms of Service, and agree to be bound by them.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please discontinue use of the Service immediately.

2. Description of Service

EasyEditPDFs provides a suite of free online tools for processing PDF documents and other file types. Our tools include but are not limited to:

  • PDF manipulation tools: Compress, Merge, Split, Edit, Sign, Protect, Unlock, Rotate, Watermark, OCR, and others
  • File conversion tools: PDF to Word, PDF to Excel, PDF to PPT, Image to PDF, Word to PDF, and others
  • Image tools: Resize, Compress, Convert, Crop, and others
  • Audio tools: 8D Audio Converter, Reverser, Pitch Changer, and others
  • Online calculators: EMI, BMI, GST, Loan, and others

All tools operate using client-side processing technology. Your files are processed locally on your device using browser APIs and WebAssembly. Files are never transmitted to our servers.

3. Use License and Permissions

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, EasyEditPDFs grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may use the output files produced by our tools for any lawful personal or commercial purpose. The tools themselves and the website content (code, design, text, branding) remain the property of EasyEditPDFs and may not be copied, reproduced, or redistributed without our written permission.

4. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Process files containing illegal content, including but not limited to child sexual abuse material, copyrighted material without authorization, or malware
  • Attempt to scrape, reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of our tools or website
  • Use automated bots or scripts to abuse or overload the Service
  • Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security features of the Service
  • Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair it
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its related systems
  • Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation

5. Your Responsibilities and Content

You are solely responsible for the files you choose to process using our Service. By using our tools, you represent and warrant that:

  • You own the files you are processing, or have proper authorization from the owner to process them
  • Your use of the Service does not violate any third-party intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other rights
  • Your files do not contain malware, viruses, or malicious code
  • You are not using the Service to violate any applicable law

Because file processing is entirely client-side, EasyEditPDFs does not receive or review your files. We cannot and do not monitor the content of files processed through our tools.

6. Advertising

The Service is supported by advertising, including ads served by Google AdSense. By using our Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Advertisements may be displayed on our website
  • Google may use cookies to serve personalized ads based on your browsing history
  • You can opt out of personalized advertising via Google Ads Settings

We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements displayed on our website.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding files you process), features, design, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of EasyEditPDFs. The website, including its source code, design elements, branding, and written content, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Third-party open-source libraries used in our tools (such as PDF.js, jsPDF, and others) are used under their respective open-source licenses.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EASYEDITPDFS EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
  • Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components
  • Warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any output produced by our tools

You use the Service at your own risk. We strongly recommend keeping backup copies of your original files before processing them with any tool.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, EASYEDITPDFS AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities
  • Any damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service
  • Any errors or omissions in the output of our tools

In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims arising from your use of the Service exceed USD $0, as we provide the Service free of charge.
